ANALISA PENGARUH RETURN ON EQUITY (ROE) DAN EARNING PER SHARE (EPS) TERHADAP DEVIDEN PAY OUT RATIO (DPR) PADA PERUSAHAAN SEKTOR KEUANGAN YANG TERDAFTAR DI BURSA EFEK INDONESIA

Abstract

In every business sector that has gone public on the Indonesian stock exchange, it is important to pay attention to financial performance because financial performance reflects the operations of a company. Not that other sectors are not important, but all company activities can be reflected in various financial risks that reflect the company in a healthy condition or not. To be able to attract investors to invest their funds, the distribution of business profits becomes a very important thing.

In a variety of financial risks the banking sector is the most vulnerable risk, this is because banks function as a mediation between the business world that requires working capital with banks that provide funds for working capital for the business world, therefore it is interesting to study the financial ratios of the banking sector registered at the Indonesia stock exchange, namely PT. Bank Bumi Arta.Tbk, PT. Bank Danamon Tbk and PT. Bank West Java and Banten Development Banks, Tbk. As for Return On Equity, earning per share (EPS) to the dividend pay-out ratio (DPR).

This research was conducted from October 2019 - January 2020 by taking secondary time series data and cross sections available on the Indonesia stock exchange for 10 years, from 2009-2018. The results of this study turned out that ROA and EPS had a significant effect on the DPR either partially or simultaneously.
